Ash wednesday!!!

Hey guys!!! sup wid y'all.. happy ash wednesday..hmm so the season of lent is here.. what are you giving up? i've decided to stay off pasta and rice and meat. Though I wont be fasting sha..lol


I love catholic schools. (my schools catholic). Every now and then we have weird holidays.. saint this day, patron this day..lol Just today afetr my 7.30 to 9.00am class. we heard the announcement bell.. of cos student already knew it had to do with crazy invitations to some seminar or workshops or a job fair or the likes sha. Lol all of a sudden as the vouice made its way to the speakers, what did we hear classes were canceled.. woahhhhhhhh.. see how students started screaming and running out of classes..lol reason: there was a healing mass and the whole school was jampacked with people with different whatever.. ohh boy.. i ran home and took a four hour sleep( ive been depriving my self of sleep for the past one week)..lol...i know with timje again, one yeye holiday would come up..



Gosh i'm so excited with my weight loss programm..lol.. gosh even though i'm still at the 2 pounds lost ish.. i can feel my thighs and tummy going down.. I went to the mall to check out stuffs.. stopped by the jeans section, got a pants( skinny), my actual size(14) and tested it.. mehn it was freaking loseeeeeeeeeee as in.. i then asked for size 12 and ohh boy did it fit.. i mean whenever i fit into size 12 pnats, it would just reach the my thighs, but itv went up and then i was able to zip without any problems.. Gosh i was so excited, i bought two.. i'm rocking them this week mehn..lol

Talking about weight loss.. In the gym i attend, some crazy indians also come to work out( goshh i dislike indians mehn) freaking pervs... and only God knows what gibberish they were yanning, but I could feel they were talking bout me.. pervs..lol

I met a nigerian at the mall yesterday.. I hardly see blacks here not to talk of nigerians.. well when i saw him with two mixed kids( i had seen the kids before), i went up to meet him and asked where he was from.. he told me he was nigerian, then i asked where and he said he was yoruba, immediately i spoke yoruba and he was so happy. He and his wife are divorced, but hes based in another country.. the kids are so cute...we had dinner together and he kept telling me that hes glad to have found someone, at elast that would make his kids closer to their nigerian lineage..lol his daughter kept asking if i was his sister( coincidentally his sister and i bear the same names)..lol.. It was fun sha.. yanning in yoruba and stuffs...

wow!! bimbylads. celebrates her one year anniversary and ends her book series Hell hath no Fury..... It was a great read and i enjoyed every bit of it.

Hi guys, watsup? Thanks to those who commented yesterday. I didnt have any answers cos i'm still in school, no job yet..lol
Those of you on facebook would have been fed up about the whole application request thingy where your friends unlimited application requests( annoying ones for that matter). Most of them are useless ones. I dont add applications on my profile, i think i have only 3 or 4. It makes no sense to me really. Its not that I spend a lot of time on facebook that i'll be listening to some songs or checking out some hunks or let the whole facebook know what i'm wearing today... when i get such requests, i just leave it and it gets accumulated until I get tired of seeing about 500 requests,lol so now i think the admin of facebook saw it was becoming a problem and so you have an option where you you can ignore all requests rather than ignoring it one by one.. such a relief i swear.
so I also found out you can log into facebook with your profile number, just go to your profile, copy the number in the adress bar and paste it into where you type in your email adress and then your password and voila!! you get directed to your homepage..lol isnt that great!!
Talking about facebook, its been a really great time signing up, i remember i was forced to open account (actually i didnt even open mine, a friend opened it and i didnt go there for months) until we had a party and when i asked for the pictures we took, one of my friends was like its on facebook so i started my facebook journey and its been great.. i've made new friends, met old friends and its been really great. I aint that addicted at least i dont go around writing on walls.. once i sign in, check my mesages, go straight to my notifications, confirm friend requests, ignore peeps i dont know or those we dont have at least 3 known friends in common or i just dont like your pictures..lol..
still on facebook, whats up with peeps who hide their online status, the thing irks me like crase.. seriously, why hide it.. i mean i get stalked on through facebook, but if i dont want people to knw i'm online, i log out, i mean whats there to do.. check pictures and all that crap. Still the same way i find people who go invisible on yahoo messenger very disrespectful. I mean its good to hide i even log in invisible when i dont wanna talk, but i go available immediately i see there are afew people, if i dont wanna talk i just stay invisble and if i need to talk to someone, i use the stealth settings immediatly and make my self available to him/her or if i stay available and want to hide from someone, i immediatly stealth him/her. it irks me when a person just comes from no wer and buzzes me without my knowledge that you are online..arghhhh It might be different for you guys sha, i mean y'all have reasons for doing what you do, but thats just what i feel and my opinions are definately irrelevant..lol

Weight Loss

well i went to the gym yesterday, was there for two and a half hours doing my normal routine. for breakfast i had oatmeal, lunch was tuna sandwich and then i had some between snacks apples,mango. for dinner i had a yogurt. I have been so lazy on calculating the amount of calories i take and burn, i have a proghram that helps me do it, i'll resume that by monday. i havent weighed my self, plan to do that by sunday but i can feel my tummy going down and of cos my thighs, my pants look loose. i'm really focusing on my tummy. i need to rock that bikini and dress i bought by summer..lol.

yay!! I got my waist bead back!!

my waist bead
so i finally got a waist bead yesterday. i had always had one before i left Nigeria, but my made me remove it before i left. actually i lived among yorubas who always made their little girls wear ileke idi( waist beads) and i had always liked to have one round my waist. i have no single idea what it is used for, some say its for making your butts grow bigger, well i wasn't really thinking of doing that, just thought it would be fun to ave an accessory round my waist since i am the queen of accessories.lol.
so how did i get and lose my waist bead. i had a friend who studied in kaduna and always came around on holidays, so during her sisters wedding( few months before i left Nigeria, was still very young then) while we were dressing up and stuffs, i saw she had like a lot round her waist, so i asked her if she could hook me up wit some. So like a week after, she gave me like 4 and i happily put it round my waist, she got green and red colors for me.. ohh boy was i happy. i never allowed my parents to see it. i remember guys used to make fun of me that i already had big butts and i was making it worse by wearing a waist bead.
a week before i left nigeria i was siting with my mum gisting and watchn a movie, as the movie ended i got up to remove the disk and bent down, alas she saw my waist bead and screamed
mum: caramel, kiloshi to wa ni idi e yen( whats that rubbish round your waist)
caramel: ohh maryam gave me as a gift
mum: b4 i close my eyes, remove that nonsense from your waist... are you a prostitute.
mehn it wasnt funny, seh even asked me to get scissors and she removed it herself and threw it away. it was so sad. anyways i left naija and sometimes the memory of it would come back.
so last week i was chatting with one of my male online buddies, he asked me if i had extra piercings and i was like nope!! then he went ahead and asked if i had a waist bead or if i ever had one, that he noticed my big butts and he really finds it sexy round a girl.. i told him the story and i remembered i had actually seen something in the store that looked like it. so yesterday i got three and they all went round, I'm so happy with it again. woahh.. at least mumsi isnt here to call me a prostitute or even if she sees it, i doubt she would say anything. I'm getting 4 more by weekend.. cant wait to rock them by summer..lol

weight loss

so i finally notice changes around my thighs, pants i wear now seem loose and even my cheeks have started reducing. I went to the gym yesterday and worked out for close to 2 hrs. My fitness instructor is so cute..lol.. mehn those his abs are killer abs. i havent recorded what i ate in my food diary to calculate the amount of calories i had and burned. but heres a breakdown of what i ate yesterday

• break-fast: oatmeal, low fat milk and sweetners. 1 half apple.
• snack: i ate the other half apple
• lunch: boiled chicken and stir fried mixed veggies
• snack:1 mango shake
• dinner: two loaves of white whole wheat bread.
• consumed more than a liter of water.
